He studied violin in Shenyang and Shanghai in his early years, and later pursued advanced studies in the United States.

He began studying violin at an early age and won prizes in numerous competitions in China and abroad, including the 2nd National Violin Competition, the Kingsvill International Violin Competition in the United States, and the Kansas International Violin Competition, among others. He also received the 1st Zhejiang Music Award.


He served for many years as concertmaster of the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra in Spain and the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, and also held a teaching position as violin professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.


As a soloist, he has performed with the Central Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra. He has also conducted concerts with the Chamber Orchestra of the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, the Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra, and the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music Chamber Orchestra.


He has also served as guest concertmaster of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Xi’an Symphony Orchestra, Shaanxi Symphony Orchestra, and Qingdao Symphony Orchestra.
He has been invited to serve on the jury of the Qingdao International Violin Competition, the Incheon Violin Competition in Korea, the Toledo Violin Competition in Spain, the Khachaturian Junior Violin Competition, and the Vienna International Violin Competition.
During his teaching career, his students have won awards in many domestic and international competitions, including the Kogan Violin Competition in Belgium, the Grumiaux Violin Competition, the Zhuhai Mozart Violin Competition, the Lapaz Violin Competition in Spain, the Incheon Violin Competition in Korea, the Singapore Solo and Ensemble Competition, the Hong Kong Violin Competition, the Beijing Lingyun Violin Competition, and the National Violin Concerto Competition in Qingdao.
