Education

He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), graduating with highest honors. He also received the Advanced Studies Performance Diploma from ZHdK, again graduating with highest honors.

He was awarded Second Prize at the Città di Padova International Music Competition in Italy.
He previously served as assistant to Professor Rudolf Koelman at Zurich University of the Arts and also performed as concertmaster and soloist with the ZHdK Chamber Orchestra.

He was a signed artist of Samsung’s Rising Star Series, received the 26th Music Journal New Artist Award, and is also an artist represented by SonusArts.
In addition, he serves as Music Director of Sound Series and is a sponsored artist of the Accornero Foundation in Italy.

As a concerto soloist, he has collaborated with many orchestras, including the Korean National Symphony Orchestra, the Korean Chamber Orchestra, the Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, the Chungnam Symphony Orchestra, the Pohang Municipal Symphony Orchestra, the Cologne Chamber Orchestra, Bach Collegium Seoul, the Korea Coop Orchestra, the Sarcelles Symphony Orchestra in France, the ZHdK Chamber Orchestra in Switzerland, the Ukrainian Chamber Orchestra, the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra in the Czech Republic, and the Tokyo Prime Symphony Orchestra.

The competition is open to students from elementary school, middle school, high school, university, and graduate school, as well as applicants with equivalent academic qualifications. International participants, including those from China, are also eligible with a copy of their passport.
