Born in Beijing, she began studying violin at the age of five and a half, appeared on stage at six, and gave her first solo recital at twelve. At fourteen, she recorded Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with the renowned conductor and viola educator Professor He Rong, performing the solo part in Spring.
She studied first with Zhong Mianju and Lin Dingding, and later with Jin Ming, Lin Yaoji, Tong Weidong, and the internationally renowned Japanese violinist Midori, among other distinguished teachers.


She has received outstanding prizes in major competitions, including China’s prestigious Wenhua Award and Golden Bell Award, as well as the Seoul International Music Competition, Hong Kong International Competition, and Qingdao International Competition.
Her doctoral dissertation, A Study of Lin Yaoji’s Violin Pedagogy, was the first doctoral research project dedicated to Professor Lin’s teaching and received high praise from experts.


Her passion for teaching and pedagogy has led her students to win top prizes in many international competitions, including Group A of the Zhuhai Mozart International Violin Competition, the Youth Division of the Hong Kong International Violin Competition, the Junior Division of the Singapore Arts Festival International Youth Violin Competition, the Children’s Division of the China-Europe International Music Competition, as well as awards in the Italy Magic Violin International Competition, the National Youth Violin Competition, the Hummingbird Music Festival Chamber Music Competition, and the ICM International Music Competition.


Her playing is noted for its refinement and expressive power, with mature and distinctive interpretations of styles from different musical periods. Her repertoire spans from early Baroque to contemporary works and includes solo and various chamber music settings.
She has successfully presented solo and chamber music concerts in Los Angeles, Sydney, Hamburg, Madrid, Osaka, and many cities throughout China.


During her advanced studies at the University of Southern California, she studied with the world-renowned violinist Midori, gave two successful solo recitals, and served as concertmaster of the symphony orchestra.


In recent years, she has frequently been invited to art festivals at professional institutions in Tianjin, Xi’an, Sichuan, and other cities, serving as jury member for numerous domestic and international competitions and teaching at international masterclasses and summer camps in Zhuhai, Qingdao, and Tianjin Poly.


Her concert performances of works such as Zigeunerweisen, Piazzolla’s Spring, and Tzigane Rhapsody have been warmly received.
