Myunghwan Moon graduated from Sunhwa Arts High School and the College of Music of Seoul National University, and later continued his studies in Germany, completing the master’s program at the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre and the Konzertexamen program at the Dresden University of Music.
He has previously served on the faculty of Seoul National University, Korea National University of Arts, Ewha Womans University, Sookmyung Women’s University, Dongduk Women’s University, Chungnam National University, and Seokyeong University.
He is currently a member of the Korean Chamber Orchestra, serves on the faculty of Kyung Hee University, Sejong University, Jeonbuk National University, Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, Sunhwa Arts High School, Gyeonggi Arts High School, and Kaywon Arts High School, and is also a member of The KCO Violas.
