As a young artist, she was recognized by the world-renowned violinist Isaac Stern, who invited her to the Isaac Stern Chamber Music Workshop, where she also performed at Carnegie Hall.
The distinguished violist Atar Arad accepted her as his first Korean disciple.
She also studied with the celebrated Russian violist Vladimir Stopichev and Professor Choi Eunsik of Seoul National University.
She performed for nine years as a member of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Myung-Whun Chung.
After moving into a solo career, she became in 2016 the first violist to give a solo recital in the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations Headquarters in New York, where she received both the United Nations International Peace Contribution Artist Award and the New Jersey State Senate Award.
She has been invited to present solo recitals at world-renowned venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Glinka Hall in Russia, the Orléans Concert Hall in France, the Aguamarina Theater in Tenerife, and Shanghai University in China.
In 2023, she was invited to the 48th International Viola Congress, where she gave a successful solo performance.
In addition, she served as music director and conductor of a concert celebrating the successful hosting of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
In 2019, one of her works was selected as the opening production of the PADAF Multimedia Performing Arts Festival and received the Best Music Award.
In 2022, she founded the Korean Multimedia Performing Arts Association, expanding her artistic practice into the fields of curatorship and artistic direction.
