
In recent years, he has directed and overseen the only string project funded by the 2023 National Arts Fund, the String Performance Talent Training Project, and has also served as lead professor of a high-level local innovation team in Shanghai.
His students have repeatedly won prizes in international competitions in recent years, including First Prize at the 2025 Tokyo International Viola Competition in Japan and First Prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition in the United Kingdom.
As first author, he has published numerous academic papers in major journals in China and abroad.
He has also published an academic monograph of approximately 300,000 words, Explorations in Viola Performance and Pedagogy, along with a large number of teaching materials and demonstration recordings.
